Yahoo! Launch Min CPC

Monday, 22 January 2007

Yahoo! Search Marketing seem to have done away with their usual 10p min CPC in favour of a new min CPC of 5p.

Google already have a min cpc of 1p, however, this also isn't across all keyphrases, and while Yahoo! will go up to 10p as the maximum, min CPC, Google has, in some instances, set CPC's over £2 - this is generally on a keyphrase with no other advertisers!!

All in all, this new min CPC is a step in the right direction by Yahoo! and will surely help those of us who manage our PPC campaigns cost effectively.
