Three reasons to add Real-Time Search to your vocabulary

Vertical Search, Local Search and then comes Real-Time Search...it's literally flown out of nowhere.
and if those two still left any doubt ask Danny Sullivan...
So how is Real-Time Search different from what has come before?
Rather then most traditional forms of search that rely on crawling and indexing content "lets look it up at the digital library", Real-Time Search results are the here and now "ask the audience" version.
Rel-Time search seems like a great concept and a great addition to other search engines.
