Google expands beyond search

At the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Google annonunced its partnership with CBS to provide an online video rental shop as well as the Google Pack!

Users will be able to download video archives and TV programmes for as little as $1.99 - providing Google with a revenue outside of search.

The Google Pack is crammed full of 'simple' computer set-up and maintenance services - directly into competition with the main players in this market place, including Microsoft.
