'The Guava Five' - Rednose Day 2009

Tuesday, 17 March 2009

What did you do for Red Nose Day this year? Red Nose Day has always been a great excuse to do something 'Funny for Money' and help those in need. Here at Guava Cornwall office this year, we didn't quite climb Kilimanjaro, but a few of us did brave the freezing cold Atlantic Ocean in Portreath, Cornwall raising £100 for charity. Thank you to all those that donated money and supporting this worthwhile cause.

Here are a few photos taken of 'The Guava Five' on Red Nose Day 2009

Guava also helped answer a popular social networking question on how to combine multiple twitter feeds so they appear in one account using the Red Nose Climb Twitter page as an example. Using Twitter as a way of interacting with people and allowing fans to follow celebrity climbers’ every step and stumble of their Mount Kilimanjaro climb with a live twitter feed worked brilliantly and raised £1.5 million which is fantastic.
