Yahoo! & Google are battling it out over SMS (short message service or texting) Mobile search. No sooner  does Yahoo! unveil its service than Google releases one as well..

SMS Search allows you to send a keyphrase to the search engine via SMS and receive your answer back via SMS. The key benefit is the fixed per message cost compared to WAP, GPRS or G3 based services that would require a longer connection time.
