Google Space

How cool is this - Google is to launch an "internet cafe" style facility at London Heathrow airport, to be called Google Space.  The aim of the temporary installation, which will be manned by Google staff, is not just to demonstrate existing Google products to the weary traveller, but also to act as a test bed for potential new applications.  "Google Space will help people make wasted time more useful. And for Google, Space is a live lab where people can test our most-up-to-date products, and give us their feedback, "said Lorraine Twohill, Google's European director of marketing.

Makes that 7 hour lay-over seem slightly more bearable doesn't it ?
