BBC.co.uk - SEO not banned by Google

Tuesday, 07 February 2006

British Broadcasting at its best.  After swift note from Martin and I the BBC have graciously updated their BMW.de article to correctly reflect that search engine optimisation is not in fact banned by Google.

I take on board your comments and the story has now been amended. We did not mean to imply that search engine optimisation is banned, but rather that Google frowns on the use of doorway pages.

We totally agree. Alfred from the BBC, yes you can count on our continued readership, and if you ever want more input give us a call.
