Search Burn...Guardian's Finest Wakes Up (in a Cold Sweat) to Search...
Tuesday, 22 July 2008
I am a huge Charlie Brooker fan, I will be forever grateful for his incessant championing of The Wire which made me check out what is quite simply the greatest TV show ever made. So imagine my glee when two worlds collided; my love of Mr Brooker's angry ramblings and my day job in the realm of SEO.
Brooker stumbled across the power of search when he wrote an online article on 9/11 conspiracy theories and in his words "virtually broke the Guardian website". But as you can see by his apt headline Online POKER marketing could spell the NAKED end of VIAGRA journalism as we LOHAN know it Brooker has a somewhat extreme view of what making an article SEO friendly is all about.
I particularly like the fact that he has taken the time to do some keyphrase research of his own - but in his unique punk style, he attempts to find some of the least searched phrases around...
JOHN SELWYN GUMMER . . . PATRICK KIELTY NUDE . . . UNDERWHELMING KNITTING PATTERNS . . . FULLY CLOTHED BABES.
He has inspired me to come up with a few of my own...
- Cardboard boxes of the 1960s
- Andie MacDowell - acting tips and hints
- Changing Rooms revisited
Any additions are most welcome!

No way. "Knitting for dolphins" was a joke, but I've just found a website for it. http://www.knittingfordolphins.com
