MSN adCentre France

Monday, 03 October 2005

MSN’s new pay per click system adCentre has launched in France.

The system features some very cool new tools including audience targeting and object based approach to ad reusability. Advertisers I’ve spoken to say they were impressed by how good it was, but were waiting to see how the public responded to the profile based targeting options that I believe is based on Microsoft Passport data. If it survives the French whom are notoriously protective over personal data then I'm pretty sure it will fly elsewhere.

If you want to know more about adCentre check out Steve Ballmer and Yusuf Mehdi's online presentation, which is actually quite an entertaining double act.
